Crimson Point Subdivision Review
June 13th, 2007 categories: Neighborhood Reviews
If you are interested in investing in a neighborhood in Kuna that will retain it’s value, this is a good place to look.
Located on the north side of Kuna, this subdivision is close to town with easy access to I-84. A planned interstate exchange at Ten Mile will make it an even easier commute. To find Crimson Point, head west on Deer Flat, cross over Ten Mile and you will see the entrance on the north side of the road.
Just one minor point to note, don’t expect to be able to resell your home and capture any gains until all 525 home sites are completed and sold! The builder can make a new home look much more attractive than a used home, even with all the added niceties that a homeowner contributes (like fencing, window coverings, storage etc…) Just put yourself in the buyers shoes wouldn’t you rather have a new home to design the way you would like it. And the prices that the builder can offer can’t compare to the homeowners capacity to leverage especially in a buyers market.
Crimson Point will have a pool someday…and the walking paths are really sidewalks, and though Indian creek is beautiful it is not really usable( the sound of rushing water is nice).
But the potential for a lovely finished product is what you need to envision before you make this investment. What do I see?
-
Indian Creek elementary school is a beautiful building in the middle of the subdivision that will be opening this fall. A great plus!!!
-
The park on the other side of the creek promises to be a lovely place to have picnics.
-
And the greenbelt, that will run along the creek all the way into Kuna, should be a wonderful place to walk or bike.
-
For those of you with children, the pool will be a refreshing place to cool off and have birthday parties.
If you decide to purchase in a subdivision,be sure to get representation from a qualified real estate agent that will protect and promote your interest (not the builder’s interest).
Stay tuned for my next post which will show you want is available for sale and what has sold recently in Crimson Point
